Miscellaneous Info: The vehicle was originally developed by Singapore Technologies (ST) Engineering and Timoney Technologies, Ltd but now produced by ST Kinetics.  There have been reports that Indonesia had planned to purchase the Terrex, but we have found no confirmation of that info.  In addition, the US Marine Corps tested the vehicle under the Marine Personnel Carrier Program (which was cancelled). And it was a finalist in the Amphibious Combat Vehicle (ACV) Program, which it were bested by the BAE Systems/Iveco Defense Vehicles ACV entry..  Possible Terrex variants include Ambulance, APC, Command, Reconnaissance/Surveillance/Target Acquisition (RSTA), SPIKE ATGM and STORM vehicles.

The similar Yavuz vehicle, based on an early prototype (Terrex AV-82), is being produced by Turkish Company Otokar Otobus Karoseri Sanayi AS, but is not fielded by that country.
