Armament: Various weapons systems can be fitted.  However the TAPV is normally fitted with a Remote Weapons System with either a 40mm Automatic Grenade Launcher OR .50 cal Heavy Machine Gun and a 7.62mm C6 Medium Machine Gun.
Engine: 6 Cylinder Turbo-Diesel (Cummins QSL 365)
Miscellaneous Info: The Tactical Armored Patrol Vehicle (TAPV) is derived from the Textron Commando Elite Armored Vehicle.  The TAPV is fielded in two variants: the General Utiltiy Vehicle and the Reconnaissance Vehicle. The TAPV is intended as a replacement for all Canadian RG-31 Nyala Mine Protected Vehicles and a portion of their Coyote Armored Reconnaissance Vehicles.
