Miscellaneous: The Saracen Armored Command Post was built exclusively for use by the Royal Artillery.  Although derived from the Armored Personnel Carrier (FV603), it was built with a higher superstructure and fitted with additional communications and power generating equipment for artillery command and control operations.  This variant is similar to the Saracen Armored Command Vehicle (FV604), but obviously differs in function and appearance.
