Miscellaneous Info:	The Kolowe Transportery Opancerzone (KTO) Rosomak, or Wheeled Armored Vehicle series of vehicles, is a license built version of the Patria Armored Modular Vehicle (AMV). "Rosomak" translated into English is, Wolverine. The Rosomak was developed as a replacement to the OT-64/SKOT vehicle series.  Due to the vehicle's modular design, many different variants of the Rosomak are possible, and many are already fielded by Poland; which are indicated by bold font.  The possible Rosomak variants include Anti-Aircraft, Anti-Tank Guided Missile Carrier [Rosomak S (Spike)], Armored Personnel Carrier (Rosomak M2 & M3), Command/Control, Driver's Instruction Vehicle (Rosomak NJ), Fire Control-Mortar, Infantry Fighting Vehicle (Rosomak M1 & M1M), Medivac (Rosomak WEM & WEM-M), Mortar Carrier (Rosomak Rak), Reconnaissance (Rosomak WSRiD), Technical Recon Vehicle (Recovery/Repair) (Rosomak WRT) and Wolf Fire Support Vehicle. Due to Poland's involvement in the war in Afghanistan, the base M1 IFV, M2 APC and WEM Medivac variants were upgraded to help contend with the dangerous environment.  The improvements incorporated into them include additional armor (including Q-Net Anti-Rocket Propelled Grenade Mesh), improved communications equipment, a Pilar fire detection system, external video cameras and wire cutters. Due to the upgrades, the vehicle designations were also changed to, M1M IFV, M3 APC and WEM-M Ambulance, respectively.
