| Miscellaneous Info: | V-100 was the basic designation given to the vehicle by Cadillac-Gage. XM-706/E-1 was the designation given by the US military to the vehicles when initially sent to Vietnam. Finally, M-706 was standardized vehicle designation derived from the upgraded XM706E-1. Finally, the XM-706E2 were the turretless vehicles selected by the US Air Force. |
