Miscellaneous Info: This one vehicle was produced by modifying the Major's initial Davidson-Duryea Light 3-Wheeled Car into a more stable and capable 4-wheeled car. Once again, this vehicle was built and designed by Major Royal P. Davidson (later Colonel) of the Illinois National Guard and Commandant of the Northwestern Military Academy of Highland Park, Illinois (Later: Northwestern Military and Naval Academy of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin).  Again this improved vehicle was never adopted for service.  However, it was closely followed by the Colonel's next attempt, the Davidson Auto Battery Armored Car.
