Miscellaneous Info: In approximately 2014, the Deployable Advanced Ground Off-Road (DAGOR) Ultra-Light Combat Vehicle (ULCV) was originally developed by Polaris to complete in the U.S. Army's ULCV Program [Renamed as the Army Ground Mobility Vehicle (A-GMV)].  The purpose of the A-GMV Program was to select a new air-deployable, high-speed, off-road vehicle that would improve the mobility of US Army's Light Infantry Brigades. Although the DAGOR lost that competition to a version of the Flyer 72 Advanced Light Strike Vehicle (M1297 A-GMV 1.1), a small number of DAGOR's were procured for use by U.S. Special Operations Command (SOCOM) as well as the 82nd Airborne Division.

In approximately 2018, the upgraded DAGOR A1 was developed. The A1 had upgrades which increased vehicle payload capacity by 20% when compared to the early model.  All vehicles produced after that date were built to the A1 specifications.

In yet another Army program in 2019, a new Infantry Squad Vehicle (ISV) was to be selected.  The upgraded DAGOR A1 was also entered into this competition by Polaris, but with The Science Application International Corporation (SAIC)* joining them as a partner.  Unfortunately, the DAGOR was not selected again by the Army, being beaten out by the Infantry Squad Vehicle submitted by the General Motors Defense LLC./Ricardo PLC consortium.
