Miscellaneous Info: VBCI is the French acronym for Véhicule Blindé de Combat d’Infanterie (Armored Infantry Combat Vehicle).  Two Variants of the vehicle are available and include the Infantry Carrier and VPC/CPV Command Post (armed with  12.7mm Heavy Machine Gun mounted on a Remote Weapon System).  This vehicle is meant to replace the AMX-10RC Armored Cars in French service.
