| Miscellaneous Info: | The Springer series of vehicles is a modified
version of the TomCar TM5 ATV. The Springer 1 is currently in
service with British Defence forces, whereas the Springer 2 is an
improved prototype vehicle only (at the time of writing). The
easiest way to tell the diference between the Springer 1 and 2 is that
the Mark 2 has larger diameter wheels, which also results in higher
ground clearance. There is also a Light Strike Version available (but not in service?) called the Terrier, mounting an M2HB .50 cal HMG and GPMG (and probably other weapons also) |
