The IZM Model 1928 was a further improvement of the basic Lancia IZ from 1916 and the Lancia IZM (Model 1918). External changes included the introduction of high-pressure tires instead of solid rubber and improved lighting with the introduction of two headlights instead of one. Armament was changed from the 8mm Saint Etienne to the then standard, Italian 6.5mm Fiat, Model 1914, water-cooled machine guns. Ammunition storage was also changed to 12,000 rounds of 6.5mm. |
